Youth AI Video Challenge: Training Workshop Highlights

Last Friday evening, the Youth AI Video Challenge: Training Workshop brought together an amazing group of young creators and families at Microsoft Café in Redmond and what an inspiring night it was!
More than fifty students joined the session both in person and online, exploring how artificial intelligence can empower storytelling and creativity. Participants learned to use AI-powered tools to plan, design, and generate video projects for the upcoming Youth AI Video Challenge (Fall 2025).
💡 Learning by Doing
Throughout the hands-on tutorial, students experimented with text-to-video and creative editing models, guided by mentors from AI4Life Institute.
They discovered how AI can become a co-creator - from generating ideas to producing short films that blend imagination with technology.
Each participant also received a free AI platform credit to continue experimenting at home.
