AI4Life Kids Vibe Coding Hackathon: A Morning of Creativity and Discovery

On October 11, 2025, young creators gathered for the AI4Life Kids Vibe Coding Hackathon, a morning filled with curiosity, collaboration, and imagination. Over the course of three hours, students explored the world of AI and coding through hands-on projects that blended play with problem-solving.

The hackathon introduced children to AI-powered creative tools, guiding them through mini-challenges designed to spark new ideas. With parents and mentors by their side, each team learned how technology can turn imagination into reality - whether through a simple line of code, a playful animation, or a collaborative game.

Behind the fun were our partners Rosebud AI and Lovable, who provided free platform credits and tutorials for every participant. Thanks to their support, children were able to experiment freely - building, testing, and discovering how AI can become a tool for creative expression rather than just consumption.

Beyond coding, the event was about confidence and connection. Families shared laughter, kids proudly presented their ideas, and the room buzzed with the sense that learning can be both serious and joyful.
